About Me - Child & Adolescent CBT Therapist in Warwickshire and UK-Wide
I’m a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with specialist training in working with children and young people in Rugby, across Warwickshire and the wider UK. I offer neurodiversity-affirming therapy for children, teenagers and families, both in person and online.
I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling with anxiety, low mood or school-related stress. Finding the right therapist matters.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and adapted to each young person. I am to create a space where children feel safe, understood and able to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace.

My Approach to CBT
Traditional CBT doesn't always fit children and young people, particularly if there is neurodivergence. At Bright Path Therapy, I adapt CBT so it works with each child, rather than expecting them to fit a rigid model.
This means:
-
Therapy is adapted to your child - not the other way around
-
Sessions are flexible, collaborative and paced appropriately
-
Sessions are adapted to sensory needs and communication style
-
Your child is supported without pressure to mask or change who they are
I focus on helping children understand their emotions, develop coping strategies that work for them, and build confidence in their own strengths. This approach is especially helpful for families seeking Autism-friendly or ADHD-informed therapy in Warwickshire and the wider UK.
What This Means For Your Child
Working with a qualified CBT therapist in Warwickshire means your child receives:
-
Evidence-based therapy recommended for anxiety and depression
-
Structured support tailored to their developmental stage
-
A safe, ethical and professionally guided therapeutic space
Therapy is tailored to the individual, using visual supports, creative approaches, practical strategies, and flexibility around session structure. Families often come to me after trying approaches that haven't fully fit their child. I provide support that feels accessible, respectful , and genuinely supportive.
A Little More About Me
Alongside my professional training, I bring a calm, thoughtful and compassionate presence to my work. I care deeply about creating a space where children and young people feel genuinely understood, rather than judged or “fixed”.
My interest in neurodivergent-affirming practice comes from recognising how often young people are expected to adapt to systems that don’t fit them. I believe therapy should feel different to that, somewhere they can show up as they are, without pressure to mask or meet expectations.
I take a gentle, collaborative approach, working at each young person’s pace and building trust over time. For me, the relationship is at the heart of the work.
