Bright Path Therapy
Child and Adolescent Therapist Warwickshire | Anxiety, Depression, School Avoidance & Neurodivergent Support
Helping Children, Young People and Families Feel More Confident, Calm and Understood
When your child is struggling emotionally, it can be difficult knowing where to turn.
Perhaps anxiety is taking over daily life. School mornings have become stressful. Your child seems overwhelmed, withdrawn, emotional, or no longer enjoys the things they once loved.
You may have tried strategies at home, spoken to school, searched online for answers, or simply feel unsure what to do next.
You are not alone.
Bright Path Therapy provides therapy for children, young people and families across Warwickshire and online throughout the UK. I support children aged 8–18 experiencing anxiety, emotional wellbeing difficulties, school avoidance, low confidence, emotional regulation challenges and neurodivergent-related difficulties.
Book a free consultation to discuss your concerns, ask questions and explore whether therapy may be the right next step for your child.

Your child does not need a diagnosis to access support.
Does Any Of This Sound Familar?
Many parents contact Bright Path Therapy because:
-
Their child seems anxious all the time.
-
School has become increasingly difficult.
-
Their child masks all day and then falls apart at home.
-
They suspect autism or ADHD but are waiting for assessment.
-
Their child refuses support or struggles to talk about feelings.
-
They feel stuck between services and unsure where to turn.
-
They simply want someone to understand their child.
If any of this sounds familiar, a consultation can help us think together about what may be happening and what support could be helpful.
Therapy That Adapts To Your Child
Every child is different.
Some children communicate best through conversation. Others prefer drawing, visuals, practical activities or talking through their interests.
Some need time to build trust before discussing difficult emotions.
At Bright Path Therapy, therapy is adapted to your child's communication style, sensory needs, personality and pace.
My approach draws upon evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), whilst remaining flexible, child-centred, trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming.
The goal is not to change who your child is.
The goal is to help them better understand themselves, build confidence and develop strategies that support them both now and in the future.
How Therapy Works
Step 1 – Free Consultation
A free 20-minute consultation allows us to discuss your concerns and explore whether therapy may be helpful.
Step 2 – Initial Assessment
Together we build a shared understanding of your child's strengths, difficulties and goals.
Step 3 – Personalised Support Plan
Support is tailored to your child's individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Step 4 – Ongoing Therapy
Sessions focus on helping your child understand their emotions, develop coping strategies and work towards meaningful goals.
Parent Support Available
Supporting a child who is struggling can feel overwhelming.
Parent support sessions are available alongside therapy or as a standalone service, helping parents better understand anxiety, emotional regulation, autism, ADHD, school difficulties and ways to support their child at home.
School Anxiety & School Avoidance Support
One of the most common reasons families contact Bright Path Therapy is because school has become difficult.
This may include:
-
School refusal
-
Distress before school
-
Reduced attendance
-
Emotional exhaustion after school
-
Anxiety around transitions
-
Friendship difficulties
-
Panic linked to school
Support is available for children experiencing anxiety linked to education, school attendance and emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA).
